DAVID FRAHME

David was born in Louisville, KY on May 6, 1967, to Ed and Judy Frahme. His father worked for State Farm Insurance Company and his mother was a school teacher. David graduated from Russell High School in 1985 and attended Carson-Newman College majoring in Computer Information Systems and Management. While at Carson-Newman, he received an ROTC scholarship graduating in 1989 as a U.S. Army Officer. David married Krista Rose from Morristown, TN who also graduated from Carson-Newman with a degree in Child and Youth Psychology. 

They moved to Augusta, GA where David attended the Signal Corps Officer Basic Course at Ft. Gordon. They then lived in London, England where David served for 3 years as the Executive Officer of the United Kingdom Signal Company. In 1992, David left active duty to pursue a career as an information technology professional for the Navix Corporation and Ashland Oil, Inc. in Ashland, KY. In 1997, God lead him to serve in denominational ministry at LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville, TN. David held positions as a Systems Engineer, Financial Analyst, Church Consultant, and Church Relations Project Manager and was a Deacon at First Baptist Church Smyrna, TN, until God called him to local church ministry in 2003. 

David then served as the Interim Director of Financial Administration at Clearview Baptist Church in Franklin, TN and then as Pastor of Discipleship and Evangelism at Lewisport Baptist Church in Lewisport, KY (western KY) before being called to East Maryville Baptist Church in June 2006. David and Krista have two children, Laura and Elizabeth.
